On September 7, 1996, at approximately 11:15 pm, Tupac Shakur was struck by four of twelve or thirteen shots fired from one vehicle to the next in the middle of the street, with bullets hitting him in the chest, the pelvis, and his right hand and thigh. One of the rounds apparently ricocheted into Shakur's right lung.

He was taken to the University Medical Center, in and out of consciousness and was heavily sedated, breathing through a ventilator and respirator, placed on life support machines, and ultimately put into a barbiturate-induced coma after repeatedly trying to get out of the bed.

While in Critical Care Unit on the afternoon of September 13, 1996, Shakur died of internal bleeding; doctors attempted to revive him but could not impede his hemorrhaging. His mother, Afeni, made the decision to tell the doctors to stop.

He was pronounced dead at 4:03 pm(PDT). The official cause of death was noted as respiratory failure and cardiopulmonary arrest in connection with multiple gunshot wounds.

TupacTupac is one of the greatest rappers of all time. Not the typical rapper, he didn't just rap about money and drugs and wanting to kill someone. He rapped about real black issues, especially things people in the hood could relate to. A very intelligent, inspirational man. Cops Then Proceeded To Tail Pac And His Associates And Give Them A Ticket For Having There Stereo On Too Loud, Then They Took Picture Which Is Everwhere On 2pac Videos On Youtube And It Was 25 minitues Prior To The Shooting , Then They Drove While Pac Was In The Sun Roof Exchanging words With 2 Other Woman Asking Them To Go To The Club 662, At 11:15 Pm, A White, Four Door Late-Model Caddilac Rolled Up Next To Pacs Vehicle And Fired 13 Round At 2pac, Only 4 Hit Him In His Pelvis, Chest, Right And Left Thigh. Suge, The Driver, Got Hit And A Bullet Was Lodged Into His Skul. After Police On Scene, Pac Was Rushed To A Trauma Centre, Were He Survived After Removal Of A Failed Left Lung And Removal Of The Bullets, But 6 Days Later, Pac Would Die Of Internel Bleeding, Pacs Body Was Cremated, His Ashes Were Mixed With Weed & Smoked By Outlaws. To make a long story short, Tupac was set up by Biggie Smalls, Diddy and the South Side Compton Crips and the cops were in on it too, which is why they supposedly ''can't find the killer'' cops know who the killer of Pac was as well as Biggie Smalls and Diddy the cops just don't wanna find Pacs killer which is a shame.......
