In the scriptures it does not say that Satan tried to overthrow God, but that Satan wanted to take God's glory upon himself.Because of this unrighteous desire and the fact that he was quite prepared to take away mans agency, to force do good so that none would be lost.He along with those who supported him was cast out of heaven to the earth remaining as spirits not having received a body.

How old is Satan?

Satan, also known as the Devil or Lucifer, is as old as God and Heaven themselves: they are timeless. They always were and always will be; there was no birth of either God or Satan and there will be no death of either, either. =) Satan used to be an angel-- one of the closest to God himself, and this angel was named Lucifer. Lucifer tried to rebel against God, questioning why God alone was superior to the rest, and as punishment God exiled Lucifer and all those who followed him from Heaven. Thus, the reign on Earth of Satan and his demons began.

Was lucifer second to god?

No Lucifer was not second to God.

How did hell get started for man?

Hell was started, in general, when Lucifer, who was once an angel of god, tried to take over the heavens and defeat God. God did not appreciate this so he made hell and condemned Lucifer, who is also considered the Devil, to hell for eternity in which he will burn forever.

What made Lucifer satin?

Falling from Heaven made Lucifer Satin. God did not allow Lucifer to continue in Heaven because Lucifer wanted to exalt himself above God, and take God's position.

Who kicked Lucifer out of heaven?

Lucifer was the Most beautiful, Powerful, and inteligent Arc-angel of all of Heaven. However he wanted more. He wanted to be God. So he tempted other angels to help him overthrow God so that he might rule. He lead the re-vault to God in an attempt to overthrow him. God, Being all powerful, Bound the angels in chains in heaven and cast Lucifer out (Perhaps to protect anymore angels from temptation)

Did God love Lucifer?

No, Lucifer was jealous of God because he was always being surrounded and worshipped by the rest of the angels. When God created Lucifer, He gave Lucifer a beautiful singing voice and good looks, so Lucifer wanted the attention that God was getting. Some of the angels started to praise Lucifer when one of the higher rank of angels kicked Lucifer out of heaven and onto Earth.

What is the secret of hatred?

In the biblical sense it started in heaven when Lucifer wanted to overthrow God for His Kingdom. Thus began the hatred between them. God affects your life by putting good thoughts in your mind. Lucifer [now Satan] affects you in the same way with negative thinking. All acts of hatred come from the influences of Satan and his misfits.

If God created the Devil why would He destroy him?

God created Angels, and the Angels were flawed like man is today. The Angel known as Lucifer was one the most powerful Angels. Lucifer got jealous of God's power and wanted it for him self. The ensuing war between God and his Angels against Lucifer and the rogue Angels led to Lucifer's defeat and God banished him from heaven but sent him to rule Hell as a compromise for allowing Lucifer to exist. Lucifer to this day is still jealous of God and hates God for banishing him.

Can lucifer be reconciled with god?

It appears that Lucifer is the antithesis of all that is good. God is all that is good. So, it is unlikely, but - with God being involved - nothing is impossible. Lucifer is a creation of God - and even he may repent of his actions. An all-merciful God would then be obliged to accept that repentance and accept Lucifer into heaven once more.

What dose lightning have to do with lucifer?

It doesn't. It has to do with pressure. God created it though, and God created Lucifer, but Lucifer rebelled, that's why we call him Satin. So that's the only thing...
