I would assume that from your question you are already being prescribed Methadone,if you are not I'm sure you already aware of the dangers of taking any medication which you have not been prescribed.

As far as i know Methadone tablets and ampules are hardly ever prescribed any more due to the fact that the government has suggested Doctors stop prescribing it due to the fact of the problem of overdose and damage to veins.

It depends on how many mg. The 40 mg tablet is a round white tablet that you can split 4 ways.

At one pharmacy where we filled my prescription the 10mg methadone pills were rectangular and they are white. I cannot remember remember whether there is anything written on either side of these. At another pharmacy the 10 mg are white, round and one side has 54 written over 142 while the other side is plain with a break line across the middle.

it can come in any mg due to its liquid form but only in tablets of 10 and 40

I live in Canada and as far as I know you can get 1,5,10,25,mg pills and they go under the name Metadol,and

they are expensive.
