What happens if you cut your vein?

Aside from being in excruciating pain, you'd lose a bit of blood and would need to be rushed to the hospital. There they'd administer pain relief and attempt to surgically re-attach your tongue. It would likely be unsuccessful.

After recovering, you'd be admitted to a psychiatric hospital to assess your mental health. Your reputation would be a shambles, and your friends and family would be distraught that you could do such a thing to yourself.

You would be incapable of articulate speech for the rest of your life, even if re-attachment was successful. Your social life would have effectively been dealt an irreparable blow, and you would be condemned to a life of cruel taunts, rumours, psychiatric medication and counseling, isolation and speech impediment.

if you cut a small part of a vein you will survive but some like on your wrist you will not survive call for medical help immediately or anywhere from shoulder or down,if you cut a vein on your lip you will survive just gently wipe the blood of in few days you will be fine or less remember this.

Venous bleeds aren't as serious as arterial bleeds. Venous blood is darker and oozes whereas arterial blood is bright red and usually spurting because of the pressure. A venous bleed generally isn't life-threatening, but if it's deep, you should definitely seek medical attention.

But, the reason you probably would,t die from this is because veins have very low blood pressure. It bleeds. or it will spurt. apply pressure with sterile gauze. if it bleeds through, apply more gauze and pressure. Call for medical help right away.
