What happens if you drive with a suspended license and dont show up at the court day?

[Edit]

Answer

It depends on the state in which you were charged. Generally speaking, you need to get a lawyer who is familiar with the traffic laws in the jurisdiction. In most places it is a crime and you could get jail time.

The fact that you did not show up in court is also a problem. There may be a warrant out for your arrest. So, you have to show up in court, tell the judge why you missed the court date, and hope he/she doesn't want to put you in jail. So, you should get a lawyer ASAP.

Driving on a suspended license is not a minor traffic offense. In most instances in most states, it is a criminal offense. For further information try the links below.
