If you gym njp'd within the marine corps you are most likely going to lose rank and possibly be awarded restriction and epd( extra punitive duty). It is all based upon what the co decides to do would you with the situation at hand. You could lose rank, be awarded restriction for up to 60 days ( depending upon the co's discretion), and epd( also at the co's discretion) and possibly loss of pay for a certain time and non rec for up to sox months. Again as I said it is based upon the co's discretion on what actions will be taken.
The question seems to be asking in what war the US Marine Corps first fought. The Continental Marines were formed in 1775 to fight the British in the American Revolution, but the US Marine Corps was founded in 1794, and their first opponents were the Pirates of Tripoli. US Marines participated in later wars in small numbers, but they did not actually attain the size of a corps until World War 2.
The Marine Corps is very good at avoiding MOS overages in the support services. If you join the Marines to be a cook, they let you enlist to be a cook because they thought one of their cooks was about to get out of the Corps. If that guy stays in the Corps, they WILL reclassify you to something else. This happened to my brother--he was reclassified to three different things before he got out of training. Your case is different: there are never enough 0311s. If you want to be an 0311, and you can pass infantry school, you'll be an 0311.
they went west across the Louisiana Territory they got from France. they were part of the Corps of Discovery.
No Roger Staubach did not play for Quantico. He was stationed at U.S. Marine Corps Base Albany Georgia. There was a rumor that he might transfer to NAS Pensacola and play for the Pensacola Goshawks, the Navy and Marine Corps. team of flight students. He was scheduled to be assigned to the Naval Hospital at Quantico. Because the Vietnam War was in progress, word got out from someone believed to be the backfield coach and the resultant publicity caused reassignment. Favoritism for a football star would have given a bad impression at that time. Roger did not play for Quantico, but he did play for the Pensacola Goshawks in 1967, a year after I played there.
Numerous building were hit during the attack. Most of the buildings that were intentionally attacked by the Japanese were aircraft hangers, barracks & headquarters buildings. However the primary target of the attacks were ships at Pearl Harbor & aircraft (on runways, taxiways & in hangers) at the various Army, Navy and Marine Corps airfields on Oahu Island.
High School or GED. Either is acceptable.
You need to visit the local US Marine Corps recruiter. They will provide you with the information required. If you have a high school diploma or equivalency and have a fairly clean criminal record, they will be happy to talk with you.
JFK biographies I've seen mention the Navy and Marine Corps Medal, but no PH
You can evolve your starters.

Zero, no "Soldiers" serve in the Marine Corps, Made the same mistake once and got punched in the head. Their are about 200,000 or so Marines serving but the number is dropping to about 185,000 Marines because of military cut backs.
http://wiki.answers.com/Q/I_want_to_be_an_Admin_in_the_Marine_Corps_but_I_failed_your_hearing_test_How_likely_is_it_that_I_will_get_a_waiver" also, i just failed the last part of it, the 4000 5000 frequencies. The 1000 2000 and those all got 0 or 5 on. I got all the rest pretty easy. I go may 14 to see the doc. MEPS made me an appointment for. Im just really nervous. I want nothing more than to be in the Marine Corps.

they had a dance battle, and whoever won, got to be in the corps
If a service members rank was reduced due to a non judicial punishment then it is as if he is starting out at the new rank and everything he had to do to progress in rank will have to be done again. Usually that means a year or two at his present rank and possibly scoring high on testing. This is correct but it really depends on what rank you were when you got busted down. You automatically get a 6 month non req for any NJP. For example, If you are a PFC and get knocked down to PVT, as soon as you get off your non req you will pick up again. It just varies what rank you were and how far you get knocked down.
He attended Washington and Lee University and then served in the Marine Corps. After he got out he learned a law degree from Yale University. When Pat started getting religious he studied at New York Theological Seminary.
The Navy Expeditionary or Marine Corps Expeditionary Medal, The Humanitarian Medal (when I was there in 1982), we got a Navy Unit Commendation for saving the lives of the crew of a helocopter that crashed. We didn't get a CAR or an NDM
