A fly bit me a week ago and it's just starting to itch its not getting bigger what should I do?

It is normal for a bug bite to itch after it makes its appearance. It is also normal for the bug bite to stay for a week or more. If the behavior of the bite is concerning, it doesn't hurt to have it checked by a doctor.

Why do bug bites itch?

Because if you are talking about a mosquito when it bites you, it puts its saliva in your blood stream to help the blood to keep flowing while it sucks its "Meal"....The saliva from the mosquito will itch where it bit for a while until the bite is healed. Concerning other bugs, the infection from the bite will itch until properly treated and also it will itch during the process of healing. I hope this helped! :)

A tick bite is a bug bite. Tick bites hurt a lot. Other bites tend to itch. I found my tick & bite because it itched a lot. It is a tick bite if there is a tick on it although baby ticks can be as small as a piece of pepper. ICK!
