It's not a good idea to feed your pets gum. Some gum contains the sweetener Xylitol which can cause a sudden drop in blood sugar in dogs, resulting depression, loss of coordination, seizures and DIE so dont do anything stupid
Its not safe for your dog to eat toothpaste because the fluoride in the toothpaste is poisonous but its most likely to regurgitate it so you don't really have to worry about it but its hard to digest things like Toothpaste so if he/she doesn't puke it out I would recommend a doctor or you can just throw that aside and maybe he/she well eventually just let it go.
It depends on how much toothpaste, and what animals might be allergic to. If you mean just a little dab of paste, I doubt anything would happen. But I'm sure if it had tubes and tubes of it - it could. But anything living can die of eating too much of something.
And I could point out that the majority of cats don't like toothpaste, so I wouldn't worry . . . . =)
nothing happens
It chews on it -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- i have a different answer. Well my dog ate gum on the side walk. So what she did was she swallowed it... So it will digest in 5-7 years.
