What happens to a woman after she is arrested and taken to jail in California?

Answer:
If it is her first time she will probably cry her head off and the guards might soften up a little. She will be allowed to make calls for someone to bail her out. If she is in an abusive relationship (with the person who called the cops in the first place) the chances are that there is no one in the world she can call, no one to bail her out. She has made the abuser her whole world and ince she doesn't seem to care much about herself, no one else does either. The district attorney will review the police report to determine if there is sufficient evidence to prosecute. If not, she will be released. If there is evidence, she will probably be held for about a week, scheduled for court, and if it is a domestic violence case she'll probably be sent to anger managment. In El Dorado County she'll be lucky if they don't take her kids away because that is one of El Dorado County's favorite punishment...ruin lives forever. Come on vacation, leave on probation.
