cars don't have warrents attached to it. If the owner has a warrent out for him then the car of course will be pulled over and they will ask you where he or she is witch can also lead to you getting in trouble if you lie. They can put an apv out for a missing, stolen, or wanted car but that's all. Get the warrent taken care of as soon as possible and make sure to call the court house to get the warrent lifted and drive around with proof that the warrent was taken care of and you will be fine.
I would think you could for sure. Contact an attorney and see how to proceed.
Yes. However, your car has a lower expectation of privacy attached to it than your home. As a result, the police may be able to search your car immediately under an exception to the warrant requirement if they have probable cause, rather than having to get a search warrant from a judge.
can a warrant be issued for non payment of car note
A warrant is issued for your arrest. If stopped your car will be impounded and you will be taken into custody.
no
What happens when you have a bench warrent for a DUI?
If they have a warrant.
They would need a warrant or permission from the owner of the garage or of the car or both. They could claim there was a risk the car would be driven out of the jurisdiction if they had to wait for a warrant.
You will be arrested and brought before the judge that issued the warrant.
It depends on the wording of the specific warrant.
WHAT?!?!?! Is the car stolen? DO you have a warrent?
well, i have an open warrant in CA, but i have registered my car, gotten driver's licenses, etc. in both Indiana and Ohio with no problem.
