If you have already soaked it in tap or distilled water, it is very large. Soaking it in salt water will cause it to shrink because there is now a high percentage of water in it, and not a lot of salt. The salt from the water gets absorbed by the bear. Now, the water percentage has decreased, so it is not as large. However, the gummy bear will never change back into its original form.
After 10 hours they loose some color and swell to three times their original size.
it will expand
it shrinks over time.
When you put a gummy bear in tap water it grows.
when you put a gummy bear in apple juice the gummy bear will float.
That sounds like an excellent science project question ... you should get a glass of salt water and put a gummy bear in it and see what happens!
It will expand
if you leave the gummy bears vinegar for 1 day the color get mixed up togeter and the gummy bear dissolve. if you put gummy bear in vinegar for two to three days the gummy bear dissapear

nothing the oil is like a preservative!
If you put a gummy bear in Sprite, it will break up in little pieces and melt because the chemical in the Sprite will make holes in the gummy bear. Since it is soft, it will break down.
well it doesn't matter all you have to do is just put one gummy bear in tap water and another gummy bear in salt water and leave it out until they grow bigger but don't eat them because all the bacteria will be in the gummy bears
it will contain much more calories + a higher content of fat :] um, really nothing. the gummy bear would get stuck in the corn syrup.. harden & lose flavor as you lose you're teeth biting into it. all in all, that's pretty gross :]

Essentially, the gummy bear soaks up the vegetable oil and the glycerol in the oil attaches to the sugar in the gummy bear, the two combined make the gummy bear highly flammable.
