What happens when you snort ativan? |
Answer
It is a waste since lorazepam is almost completely insoluble in water. you may feel a slight bit, however just letting it dissolve is your best bet. The other route that is better would be to IV it, however you need to make sure the drug is pure, which you should not be doing.
Lorazepam is not a stimulant.
Answer
The above answer is right on... The quickest way to get it into your bloodstream (besides IV injection) is place it under your tongue and let it dissolve. It will be absorbed rapidly through the mucous membrane into the capillaries on the underside of the tongue entering venous circulation without having to go through the stomach or be metabolized by the liver. It dissolves quickly and does not have a bad taste.
Also, DON'T try to break the pill down and inject it. The only lorazepam that should be injected is medical grade from a vial or ampule designed specifically for that purpose.
