Depending on what you kind of cough syrup you are taking, it could upset your stomach, potentially stomach cramps and diarahea D. You will have wasted your money.... If its expired more than a few months go buy a new.

∙ 14y agoI have done this once before, didn't realize they were expired until after. It made me feel a bit dizzy, sweaty, and I threw up after about 45 minutes. I felt fine about 10 minutes after throwing up.

∙ 13y agoThat depends on how much cough syrup you took. If it was, say, a few drops over your dose, you're fine. If you took more than a dose and a half, you can expect getting sick, i.e. vomiting sick. If you severely overdosed I recommend going to the hospital.
