What height should you place a CO detector? In: Uncategorized

[Edit]
There is lot of discussion on this issue - some claim that CO is slightly less dense than air and will rise to the top of the room. As if you'd get nitrogen, argon, and oxygen strata in a room!
However with mixing due to air currents in a room the gas will be evenly distributed throughout.
So any location is okay as long as the detector shares the same air supply as the area you wish to monitor
