It all depends on where it is. Calamine lotion helps sometimes. Some people bathe in oatmeal. The most important thing though is do not scratch. Though itches can be tempting to scratch, scratching will only worsen the itch and cause it to persist for a longer period of time. Play a game, listen to your favorite song, do some Arts and Crafts. Anything that will take your mind off of it so your not tempted to scratch.

Lotion every hour on the hour and also Benadryl helps with the itcheness. If extremely bad I put a cortizone anti itch cream (found in pharmacy) on red spots of body. I get this alot by overdoing it in the sun or tanning bed. Itch, redness (rash) prickly feeling all over, and this is the best remedy I have found :) hope it helps
