Meth is made from household chemicals such as lighter fluid or Drano. Cocaine is actually derived from a plant the Coca bush, but that does not make it safe by any means.

Both Meth and Cocaine: Increase energy levels, can cause significant weigh loss, make people extremely talkative. Anyway, pretty much, they overload your dopamine receptors in your brain, causing them to explode, literally. And make you super psyched. While you're happy, you are gifted with attentiveness and suddenly you are extremely attuned to detail, and frequently lose track of time.

For example: Using, and your feeling the motor-mouth happy coming on, and this makes you notice that the guy sitting across from you has a mustache with two different shades, so you offer to even it out for him there with your tweezers. It'll only take a second because your just going to get those 3 at the top out. Four hours later, his mustache has been nearly thinned out of existence one hair at a time, the whole time sharing at talk speeds of 180 words per minute, every detail of your life and your twice removed cousins you can remember.

So, How could they be so different if they have that much in common?

1. Biggest thumbs down of cocaine is that If you do a line at 4:20, and 5:00 you're ready to do more. Sadly lasts only 20 minutes at a time, at average dose. Very expensive, bad if you just get it every now and then cause you'll be detoxing and depressed all the time. Meth, lasts hours after use, if you happen to have a low tolerance, especially 1st time users, its effects won't completely wear off for a 24 hour day. Meth's cheaper, and less is more when comparing to coke.

2. Meth, as above says, out of all drugs, has the most dangerous ingredients. Cocaine is mostly natural.

3. Meth was discovered by Japanese Sciencist Akira (something) in 1919 and got used and popular in World War II, I think Hitler got butt tons of it to keep his soldiers awake longer. Around the seventies is got illegal.

4. Cocaine gives a numbing sensation, Meth, seldom if ever does. (could depend on user)

5. cocaine is easier to find because there are more laws limiting the legal amounts of the ingredients in meth such as Sudafeed one can purchase at a time, which gave rise to Shake and Bake meth that requires less Sudafeed, and no cooking. (I personally believe this will be astronomically worse stuff than original Crystal.) (Take time and research how it's made.) Crystal meth nearly always has to be done right to look right, reducing risks of getting horrible batches that undoubtedbly will be numerous in Shake&bakes.

6. Cocaine is white powder, Meth should be nearly 100% clear, resembling salt.

7. Meth is significantlly more unpleasant to snort. Imagine a horrid chemical and putting it up your nose, and continuing to do so till your nose is raw, then imagine that chemical eating at your already exposed rare flesh. Ya, trucking with me? Coke messes your nose too, but Meth is bad even in the beginning.

8. An interesting scale I found recently says the number level of dopamine(happy brain chemical) in your brain is 100 normal, 150 when you eat, 200 when you fornicate, and 350 on cocaine. It increases as you do things that your body perceives as pleasant or necessary, and is process through the cells that you blow up. I'd say Cocaine blows up way less and is a slower death because Methamphetamine raises that level to 1350. Cells blow up because Meth is Ninja as fack and convinces the cells it is dopamine and so they open their door and BAM they get tagged.

See the Related Link below for an extremely informative "how meth works link" My references from this page are toward the bottom such as the dopamine levels I listed.

9. Haven't heard of Coke mouth have ya? Meth speeds up tooth decay(does not CAUSE it, increases it) People who drink plenty of water and brush their teeth at least 2 times a day even on meth, still have their teeth. Meth causes dry mouth, a hydrated mouth is #1 natural defense against tooth decay, the dry mouth that comes with meth use, actually is the culprit of decay. Prevention: Treat dry mouth by drinking water, not pop or any other beverage. Gum also helps in spit production that may save all your teeth.

10. I think you're getting the idea. As I stated above, individual results will be different, if you use chronically, especially on Meth (not sure about coke) but after you kill your dopamine recptor cells so much, your brain puts out less, less, and none at all. So these effects don't pertain to someone experiences that. Those cells grow back 2 years after you kill them out, making meth nearly the hardest drug to walk away from. Nine out of Ten first time users become long term addicted. Loads of ppl are talkative on the stuff, but you might be special and it give you just the edge you need to go relax quietly.

Comes down to this:

Would you rather have to find more and use more frequently at a more expensive rate for a naturally grown energy fix that numbs whatever side of your face you snort it up...

OR

Find less of something harder to find, have to go back to reload only a few times a day, risk dying on its toxic ingredients every use, and feel and see your sinuses disappear when you snort it, less expensive than above, but expensive enough.

Crystal meth is a form of speed (amphetamines or methamphetamines). Crack is a diluted, easier-to-smoke form of cocaine.

Angel dust is PCP. Crack is a form of cocaine. PCP is very different from crack, as PCP is a dissociative while crack is a stimulant. Go to erowid.org for more.
