None, high schools did not exist in colonial times. He received some education at home and the rest on his own.

Actually, Boston Latin School, the nation's oldest public 'grammar' school/high school, was established in 1635. (one year before Harvard College, in 1636). Seven "Signers" attended, as did Ben Franklin. (Hamilton, Adams, Hancock, Paine, Franklin,...)

Thomas Paine self taught himself through a numerous collection of books that he collected through his family and friends. Upon finishing his education he burned all of the books that he learned from, vowing that he alone was worthy of such an education.
