There are no home or store-bought remedies to "clean" marijuana, or any other drugs for that matter, from you hair, so as to avoid detection on a drug screen. When you ingest a drug (marijuana, in this case), it becomes embedded in your hair shaft. Since your hair grows about a half of an inch per month, you will not see the drug's presence immediately-it needs that month to grow, because the new growth is where traces of the drug are found. As your hair grows longer, the older growth, up to 1 1/2 inches away from your head, can be tested for drugs (so the drugs you did within the past 3 months). Dyeing your hair, shampooing it 400 times, cutting it, don't bother with all that, it doesn't do a thing (they can use any hair on your body to test, by the way). However, hair testing is expensive and time-consuming, so it is not common in the workplace, and I highly doubt it is used very often at all.
