You should take your dog to a veterinarian for an examination. "pink eye" is the lay term for conjunctivitis - inflammation of the membranes over the sclera (white part of the eye). This can be caused by infection, trauma, foreign body, cancer or infestation, and treatment is based upon the underlying cause.
If it is not treated by a veterinarian, you risk the dog going blind in that eye, as well as suffering a great deal of pain.

∙ 8y agoPink eye is a general term used to describe inflammation of the conjunctiva. A dog with pink eye will always have some inflammation/redness, but a dog with redness doesn't always have pink eye.
