Depending on how much mouse poison was eaten, because it is POISON, death is a rare side effect, and nausea and throwing up could occur in the dog. Mouse poison and rat poison are usually chemical that stop blood clotting resulting in internal haemorrhaging leading to death. Really nasty stuff. Similar chemicals are used to thin blood in victims of heart attack under strictly controlled dosage. Needless to say if a dog eats the stuff it runs the same risk as the mouse but it has to eat a lot more of it. It would be advise able to have a word with your local animal welfare organization for advice. In the mean time keep the animal if it is active protected from getting any cuts as it will be very difficult to stop the bleeding.
Get it to the Vet right away and don't waste a second. On the way to the vet, call him/her on the cell phone. As a matter of fact, ask the vet before hand what should you do if the dog eats mouse poison, so you will be prepared in case of such an emergency. If you didn't ask, get the dog to the vet right away, and call the vet on the way there!

if a dog eats mice poison you should see a vet about it
It depends on which poison you're talking about, but it's a safe bet that anything that kills mice is not good for dogs.
Yes, even if a raccoon eats a poisoned mouse it could be killed.
You should take your dog to the vet IMMEDIATELY as he may be dying. Call the vet, tell him you are on your way and why, grab the rest of the mouse poison and get on the road. Mouse poison kills a number of dogs every year.

Felines, snakes, owls, hawks, mouse poison, and mouse traps.
It depends on how much poison the mouse ate and how big your dog is. You should probably call your vet, but if you aren't sure if you need to, you should watch your dog closely.
I belive that is is the primary consumer.
