What if you missed three birth control pills? |
[Edit] |
Answer
If you miss more than two birth control pills during any given month, you need to use a second method of pregnancy prevention until your approaching period. There is no way around this.
Answer
First, it is not good to take four birth control pills at one time, and it really won't make a difference in the effectiveness of the pill if you do.
Second, if your period hasn't started, I would take a pregnancy test just to be sure, because taking the pill while you are pregnant isn't good for the baby. But in all honesty I think you have to be off the pill for a while to get pregnant. But it has happened. Just take a test to be sure.
Answer
Well to be honest when I come off my pill (which is high dosage) it takes 3 days for me to start having my menstrual cycle.
I have done what you have done before and the reason it stopped was because I'd interrupted the flow. The best thing if you've missed more than 3 days is to just wait, have your period and start again in 7 days time.
It is not recommended to take so many pills at once either. Usually if you missed one pill (as I've been told) you take the day you're supposed to take but leave the other, but have protected sex
I don't think you have anything to worry about. I know that periods can happen when on the pill but pregnant, but it's an extremely low percentage. If you're period is normal when you do have it you've got nothing worry about (believe me, I'm petrified every month!)
