Took a vacation that was scheduled. Payday did not receive check. Employer states that he can resubmit it and I will get paid, as if taking a vacation but I would have to work and if company finds out I worked, then I would get fired. ?????

∙ 14y agoEvery state is different. If I were you I'd make a report with the board of labor. They keep track of these things. If you were working under the table then there's nothing you can really do about it, and it's your own fault for working off the books.

∙ 13y agoASK why you were not paid. If the answer is unsatisfactory, each state's employment commission enforces a payday law. Complain to them, no lawyer required.
