Your turtle may not be eating because he is new, but if he is sneezing too he may have PNEUMONIA. PNEUMONIA Symptoms - refusing to eat, sneezing, bubbling at the nose/runny nose, raspy noise when breathing & lethargy. Possible Causes - Pneumonia is caused by damp, cold, draughty conditions. Having warm water & cold air can also cause it, & visa versa. Solution/Prevention - FATAL IF NOT TREATED - TAKE TURTLE TO VET! Immediately move turtle to warm dry housing. Use a tungsten light to warm air temperatures. Fix problems in regular enclosure by ensuring land & water temps. are both warm. Stop draughts from windowa and doors. In Winter place a lid over the basking area of your turtle's enclosure. With thanks to TJ Thornton's book: 'Keeping Red-eared Turtles in New Zealand'

It might be a picky eater. Or if you feel that it is sick you should look up your question because there is a possibility someone had the same question and had it answered. I suggest Yahoo answers. If you cannot find the answer get your pet check at the doctors quickly. My guinea pig wouldn't breathe correctly when I got it. I soon found out that it had respiratory and heart problems. A simple check-up can help a lot. Your pet may have problems in health, or it just doesn't like the food your giving it so you should try new foods and if that doesn't work you should take your pet to the animal hospital for a small check-up, or call them if you want. It can do so much for you and your pet.Or feed it inside of water if you feed it on dry land it wont eat.
