It really didn't. To many, it was similar to a normal succession of the throne and didn't affect their daily lives at all. A single nearly bloodless battle in England wouldn't really bother the colonists who were 3000 miles away.

The American revolution was a war caused by evolution of thought. The French revolution was a bloody revolution in every sense of the word and went through all the stages. The Glorious Revolution was bloodless and a the daughter of the king and her husband were put in his place.

The Glorious Revolution brought a new type of government to Britain. England now had a Protestant ruler and a Bill of Rights meaning there was no longer an absolute power. This had little effect on the colonies and empire because parliament as well as the monarchy wanted to expand British rule because of the economic growth new territories allowed.
It showed the Americans that the ruler, if corrupt, can be overthrown. It set a precedent for the colonies when they separated from the King's rule.
The American uprising turned out to be a glorious revolution.
