Non-native species that are superior competitors... Apex
Plants or animals or other, that have the correct characteristics that will allow them to grow in an area where they are not naturally found, or in the case of a farm or garden not wanted. And have been known to invade these areas.
An introduced species is one which has been brought from one continent or country to another by man where it did not occur naturally.
An invasive species is normally an introduced species which has no predator in the area to which it was taken and no check on its' propagation.
This could be a plant with no native animals to eat it and stop it spreading out of control or an animal such as the Cane Toad which is poisonous to most other animals.
I believe you meant "What is an invasive species?". An invasive species is a species that does not belong to the environment that it is in. They can cause much trouble, such as stinkbugs. They can also mess with a food chain. They are sort of like aliens. They can cause environmental or economic changes to an environment.
Non-native species that are superior competitors apex
Species or animals moved by humans to new geographic areas, either intentionally or accidentally
Invasive species are problems because they can kill off weaker species and they can force species to migrate into a climate that could kill them because of harsh environments.

New species are introduced into areas to either get rid of another animal e.g. the cane toad came to Australia to get rid of some kind of bug or and animal is accidentally taken to another country.
A new species, when introduced to an ecosystem, will compete with the indigenous species for food and resources. If the new species is predatory, it may also begin preying on the indigenous species, so the native populations will decrease sharply.
Yes it will increase in a habitat.
Those are invasive species.
Introduced species usually do well because native species have not developed the defenses required to protect themselves against the new type of threat that an introduced species presents. For example, the fox in Australia prevails so easily because so many of the small, native, ground-dwelling species are quite defenceless against the fox. Some can burrow, some can climb, but they cannot fight. It is interesting to note that the echidna in Australia is one of the species least affected by introduced species. This is because it is highly adaptable to a variety of environments, cab burrow, and can protect itself by drawing itself into a tight ball with its spines sticking outwards. This sort of protection is rare among the Australian native animals.
It's an introduced species such as rabbits being introduced into Australia.
Eventually, all native species had to have been introduced sometime. So, native species are introduced species that have been in the ecosystem for a long time, and it and the other organisms have adapted to each other. There is no such thing as an Australian introduced species in the Murray River. If it is Australian, it is not introduced. Species which have been introduced from overseas include various species of Carp, Brown and Rainbow trout, Redfin perch and Gambusia. The most prolific of these is the carp.

there are no websites that say the introduced species names and I am trying to do a project! aargghh come on people!
"Invasive Species" is a term used to describe a species that is taken from it's natural environment and introduced somewhere else. The species then cause harm to the new environment it was introduced in.
