What inexpensive laptop computer would run SolidWorks software?

If your assemblies are large 250+(prts) then don't use laptop for SW.... Currently i'm using an $6,000 (8 gig ram) system and it still crashes on occasion... good luck.. PJ

PS.. i hate dell's service but products are ok...investigate their portable products

Answer

It all depends on what are the MINIMUM Systems Requirement of SolidWorks Software ...

Find out what processor and meomory your Laptop has ? on desk top screen RIGHT-CLICK mouse button on "My Computer" Icon and go to 'Properties" in the list @ the bottom.

that shows that Processor and Memory that Laptop has ? then compare the Systems Requirement of SolidWorks Software ... Its that simple :)
