Conditions on which natural selection takes place.

1. Reproduction of living organisms of which many more are born than can survive on the resources provided by the environment.

2. Genetic heritability of morphological and behavioral traits in a generally vertical fashion.

3. That the progeny produced be genetic and morphologically variant.

4. That the immediate environment ' naturally selects ' the better suited variant organism possessing the better fitted adapted traits to this environment. And that these traits confering this selective advatage are passed unto progeny.
