That "point" in a body where the entire weight of the body can be represented to be present. Extend your knowledge by exploring where the center of gravity would be for metal shapes formed in the shapes of circular, square, rectanglar, hexagonal rings with metal rods. Where would the center of gravity be, on the ring or outside the ring?

If you have a large body, regular or irregular, then center of gravity defines a point (usually within the body) such that the body in its large form will act as if all its mass was concentrated at this one point. Used in analysis work in mechanics.

The center of gravity is the location around which a body rotates if under no translational forces.
If you could balance a body on a point at it's center of gravity it would not rotate.
The center of gravity for a body can be located by suspending the body from a number of points on it's edge the CoG will always be directly under the point of suspension. (Or balancing on a knife edge or equivalent in which case the CoG will be directly above the intersection of the numerous balancing lines).

Is the center of gravity located in the center of objects made of like material?

Only objects that have the exact size, shape, mass and density distribution can have the same center of mass. Any variation and the center of gravity would move. Furthermore, only objects that are geometrically symmetrical (think sphere) can have a center of gravity at their geometric center.

Toward the center of mass of the object or objects attracting you. Gravity also pulls it/them toward the center of mass of you.

What is gravity's effect on motion?

Gravity pulls objects together and towards the center of the earth. The force of gravity depends on the mass of the objects and the distance between them. Gravity will speed up objects falling towards the earth and slow down rising objects.
