What is 3D printing?

Answer:
3d printing is the act of using a 3d printer, a machine that creates objects layer by layer using cross sections of CAD data. This term is sometimes used interchangeable with additive manufacturing. Some forms of 3DP include printing binder onto layers of powder, curing layers of UV curable resins, cutting paper and laminating them one by one, sintering nylon and metal powders and fusing extruded plastic on to a platform.
