A 4 stroke engine, is one engine that has 4 "tasks" to do, which is:
1st Intake (mixing the air with fuel)
2nd Compression (compressing the air and fuel)
3rd Combustion (exploding the air and fuel with the engine's candles)
4th Exhaust (expelling the gases from the combustion)
A 2 stroke engine does 2 tasks at the same time, so it does the same as the 4stroke, but faster, and that's why 2 stroke have better acceleration, but also that's why you have to mix oil with the fuel (and sometimes they are a bit noise seeing that they get to high rpm's very fast, but a good exhaust should make the noise less noticeable)

i say that a 4 stroke is faster than a 2 stroke
Depends on if this engine is a 2 stroke, 4 stroke, or rotary engine. I assume you are referring to a 4 stroke as found in the vast majority of automobiles built today. The answer is, At the top of the compression stroke. The 4 strokes of a 4 cycle engine are:# intake/induction stroke # compression stroke # power stroke # exhaust strokeDepends on if this engine is a 2 stroke, 4 stroke, or rotary engine. If you put 4 stroke what in it
4 stroke
In a 2 stroke, every second stroke of the engine is a power stroke. In a 4 stroke, every 4th stroke of the engine is a power stroke. Knowing this, a 2 stroke has double the power as a 4, in the same cc
It's a 4 stroke.
