Digital uses only ones and zeros. so something is either on or not on, a charge is presant or not.


Analog uses a continum of numbers so something can vary in a given range so the alues can be anywhere between one and zero so say it could be 0.67 0.88 or whatever.


This changes how they are designed and operated. your computer is a digital computer so are most computers used in the world.
