They did not really have a form of currency, but they traded thing with each other, also known as bartering. Farmers would trade their surplus of crops for other thing that were not available to them like baskets,jewerly,ect. They traded many different things, but jewerly was the item that was traded the most. they also traded rice and copper aswell as other precious metals (precious to them).
