Belgians are quite traditional. They are known as hard workers. And they are among the biggest money savers of the world. Buying or building a own house is the goal for the most.

But they also enjoy life very much: you find a lot of good restaurants, and even there much less pubs than some decades ago, you still find enough of them around the country!

Oh, they all complain always: about the weather (ok, they have a point), about the taxes they have to pay (another point, but everyone try to avoid as much as possible), about the politicians (ok, another point, government is fallen again),...

Dont forget: it is the country of surrealism. Check the paintings of Magritte, it says much about the country :-)
