Blake's 7 is one of my favourite Sci-Fi series. Although, even by standards of the time, the production values were low. The series made up for this with a great story and a unique sense of realism. The main things that I liked about the story was that the 'good guys' had dubious morality and that the main characters were just as likely to die as anyone else. I also thought that the 'Liberator' spaceship is one of the best designs I've ever seen for a space vehicle. Also, items like the teleport bracelets and guns were pretty cool. If you are the sort of person that can enjoy a great story without the dazzle of great special effects I think you will love Blake's 7
