CRT stands for Capillary Refill Time

To check blood pressure gently press your finger on your dog or cat's gum. This will force the blood out of the tissue. When you remove your finger you will notice that the spot you were pressing is now lighter in colour and will look like a white dot. Time the length of time it takes for the blood to flow back into the tissue and for the spot to return to normal colour. The normal time for dogs and cats is 1-2 seconds.
