What is Final Fantasy 8?

Final Fantasy VIII (8) is a PS1 game released by Squaresoft in 1998.

It is an RPG (role-playing-game) which follows the adventures of Squall, the protagonist, and his friends/classmates as they fight to defeat an evil sorceress.

The plot is hugely in-depth (much to long to write here) and the game play is massive, spanning four PS1 discs.

Also released on the PC.

I personally believe that is is the best Final Fantasy out of them all.
