Suicide is strictly forbidden in Islam religion per Quran Muslim Holy Book and prophet Muhammad (PBUH) teachings. However, those who sacrifice themselves in resistance of their occupiers to defend their lands and homes and families, for not having any other means to fight against them, are considered in Islam as martyrs on condition that sacrificing themselves does not result in killing civilians and/or children.
