What is Isobel Gunn's husband's name?
There is no record of Isobel Gunn ever being married. She appears to have ended her life in obscurity; it is as if she just "faded away" after being shipped back to Scotland. She had worked for the Hudson Bay Company under the name John Fubbister.

Ms. Gunn and her son were deported (against her wishes) following her "adventures" in early Canada where she posed as a man. She worked alongside men and "pulled her weight" without being discovered. Women were not allowed to work or even be present in the outposts (except Native Americans), and she disguised herself sufficiently to "pass" until she actually gave birth to a child in a remote station.
