• John Casablancas Modeling and Career Center is a school and an excellent way to start in the acting industry, and models like Tyra Banks (She started with ELITE) have started here. Actors have also. It's a great way to get yourself into the industry, if you've got a LOT of money and talent.

• John Casablancas is actually a small time modeling training center that has offices all over the United States. At their classes you will have instructors that are not professionals in their fields guide you in the art of applying makeup, walking down a mock runway and speaking about a product in front of a camera. Many people who enter John Casablanca's modeling and Career center have been referred by a friend, or a local scout in a mall. Any attractive person can usually become enrolled in said career center as long as they pay the nearly 4,000 dollar fee. They will give you a book and a bag with general materials such as make-up brushes. The book is rarely used and the curriculum is not solid or in any particular order. This is due to the fact that they have rolling admission to lessons so each week there may be new students.

• John casablancas modeling and careers centers #1 accepts anyone and everyone that comes through the doors. They set it up to make it seem as though there are cuts and you were one of the best that auditioned and that you are one of the few that recieved a call back.Then they sugar coat you with compliments and go over what they could help you improve on and then put you on the spot for $$$$. The websites that they ask you to check out are the websites that their company has complete control over, therefore nothing negative gets posted or it is immediately removed. The staff is not professional and are usually previous students. The jobs that they get are usually ones that are open to the public, so do you need to go to their"training" in order to audition-NO! John Casablancas is merely an embarrassment to the industry when it comes to modeling and acting. If you have the time and money to throw around, go for it. Do not have high expectations of success and fame after you pay $, thats what they make it sound like and that is not the case!

• This JC Modeling and Career Center only wants money. The director of one location has such a sales pitch that will get you into believing she will get you to the next level if not to ELITE. It feeds off of desperate, non talented individuals who want to pursue a career in modeling. Consider their audition and submission process. They don't care or consider to take a look first at your face and see if your able to be a model. Why would they waste there time if you don't have potential? They want your money! They just ask you a few questions that don't deal with your potential but your eagerness to pay for their classes which have non working models tell you that they are models. Trust that this is a pitch and that you will be rated a B model and asked to pay for the next level of getting to MTM (MODEL TALENT MANAGEMENT). Which agency would you rather be represented by? 1 name John Casablanca's? 2 Elite? or MTM? Which do they consider themselves solidly by? Sure Tyra Banks started with ELITE. But she did not start with John Casablanca's Modeling and Career Center. Ignore the supermodel's you see and recognize on the walls of their office. The models got their start either with ELITE MODEL MANAGEMENT not this modeling and career center. it is only to teach you what models do and after that if lucky you might get a job.

• John Casablanca's is not a great way to start a modeling career for the serious. It is however a good place to learn some self-confidence and some very rudimentary make-up techniques.
