What is Jon and Kate Gosselin's salary per episode of 'Jon and Kate Plus 8'? |
CNN reports that the Gosselins are paid approximately $50,000-$75,000 per episode of "Jon & Kate Plus 8."
Matt Lauer of the Today show reported the family is paid $25,000-$50,000 per episode. See related links for his full report.
There are also, however, many unsubstantiated opinions by WikiAnswerers:
- They reportedly get $25,000-$50,000 per episode.
- The amount of money that Jon and Kate make has not been disclosed. It is reported that they make anywhere between $45,000-$65,000 per episode. (They also make money from their speaking engagements, but it is relatively a small amount.)
- The Gosselins make up to $75,000 per episode on their TLC hit, Jon & Kate Plus 8.
- I think it's $10,000-$15,000.
- $60,000-$90,000
- Jon, Kate and their eight kids are very fortunate to have this money. I think if they wouldn't be able to get this amount of money, their family wouldn't be able to survive. They spend thousands of dollars each week just on food, clothes, toys and other supplies. They need this money so badly, since they have such a large family to support, love and protect.
- I would say about $40,000 per episode.
- $70,000 per episode.
- The correct answer is $75,000.
- They make appearances on TV shows and talk shows for about $1,000-$2,000.
- About $36 million per year.
- Depending on the show, anywhere from $5,000-$40,000 per episode.
- $60,000-90,000 per show
- They make $45,000-$65,000 per season.
- $65,000 an episode
- I heard somewhere $75,000 per episode.
- Some sources have said $5,000-$65,000 per episode.
In addition, however (according to rough estimates), Jon and Kate can make up to $40,000 a week from the "love offerings" (cash given in the collection plate at churches) on their Speaking Tour, where they have sold out 20,000-seat churches. And this income does not even include the cash from the post-speech "Meet and greet" sale of autographed pictures at $10-20 a pop. Since it is cash, we will never know how much they truly make.
- The Gosselins make 75,000 dollars per episode. So that figures between three million and four million per season. [it figures that much because they usually have between 20 and 34 episodes per season] You also have to figure all the extra stuff for the show. Like: book signings, interviews, money from the selling of their books. [multiple blessings and eight little faces], appearances and speaking, and think about all the money they save. [free clothing, free trips and vacations, free vet bills, free doctor visits, free surgeries [for example : Kate's tummy tuck and Jon's hair transplant], free hair cuts, the dogs were free, free supplies for the dogs, free furniture and carpet. The list just goes on and on. Think about how much money they get to save. They get around three or four million a season so they probably save just about all of it. They do have to pay bills and pay for their house [but they probably make monthly payments] still their house was 1,350,000 dollars!! [ That would be expensive payments per month definitely ] But they do get paid a lot of money and they probably get to save just about all of it. They have a lot of money!
- In previous seasons, Jon and Kate were paid $40,000 per episode or about $1.48 million per season (about $ 3 million per year). For this season, they reportedly are being paid $ 75,000/episode or about $2.8 million for 37 episodes ($ 5.6 million per year if they continued into the future...) Not bad!!
