What is Loch Ness?

Loch Ness is a freshwater lake in Scotland, situated in the centrer of the Scottish Highlands. It is the largest body of water in Great Britain and contains more water than every lake in England and Wales combined. The Loch is famous for a mythical monster, known as Nessie, which is said to live in the loch.
