What is Mahabharata about?

Answer:
Mahabharta is a description of the lives and wars of Kauravas and Paandavas of India some 5000 years ago. The war amongst them is called Mahabharat.
It was during this period and in the wartime the preachings given by Lord Krishna to Arjuna were recorded as Gita explaining the philosophy of Karma


In short the Mahabharata is about a stuggle between 2 families over controling a kingdom.
