Mercury has three speeds.
It takes Mercury 88 years to make one revolution around the sun. Which if you didn't know is very fast!
The wind speed on Mercury is zero. Mercury has almost no atmosphere.
The element mercury has not yet been detected in the solar wind, but it stands to reason that it will propagate at the speed of the bulk solar wind - between 300-800 km/s.
The atmosphere on Mercury is almost non-existent. There are no winds.
29.6 miles per second.
Mercury doesn't have any wind
It's wind. Everybody is saying solar but i put wind and it was right. Solar wasnt even an option
1. solar energy you get from the sun while wind energy you get from the wind 2. solar energy you have to have solar things (ex solar ovens) wind energy you need a windmill for.
Wind energy is not called solar energy. Solar energy is the energy from the sun, while wind energy is just wind energy.
That would depend on where you live. Wind power will create more energy if you live in an area where the wind blows consistantly. Most wind turbines function poorly, or not at all, below a certain "threshhold" wind speed. Determining what the average wind speed is in your area throughout the year will give you what that "cutoff" speed should be for turbines in your area. Most solar photovoltaics (PVs) require direct sunlight to produce any appreciable power, although indirect light PV systems are improving a lot (these are the PV cells in solar calculators, for instance). How many days of the year that see little or no cloud cover determines how useful solar would be in your area.Note, however, that most places tend to be best suited to a combination of both systems. As seasonal conditions for one system become poor, the conditions for the other type tend to improve.Answer:It is my belief that Solar Power is better than Wind Power. Why? Simple. You can add solar panels to existing structures and they don't take up additional space. Plus, the technology to make solar panels keeps improving, bringing down the cost of installation. While not all areas are good for solar energy, there are still many advantages to solar energy and I believe it has a brighter future than Wind Power.
The energy to create wind comes from solar energy.
Of what? orbit: Mercury spin: Jupiter wind: Neptune
There is no wind speed in Mercury because it doesn't have an atmosphere.
Mercury
mercury
The fastest moving planet in out solar system is Mercury, which is named after the roman god of speed.
Solar wind
There is no wind because Mercury has no significant atmosphere.
If you mean within our Solar System: Mercury, since it is closest to the Sun.
Solar flares can increase solar wind.
Mercury is in the same solar system that we are in.
It is solar wind
Solar flares from the sun produce bursts of solar wind, but solar wind is constantly streaming out from the sun.
