I'm Irish and my answer is tat all us Irish people have known what hardship is, whether it's proverty or shootings or famine but I think the difference with us is to other countries is our beliefs. To truly believe we can get through anything anywhere in our hearts and minds we're strong. If anything our Saints like saint Patrick has showed us tat their is nothing we can't get through.We are thought about this in school and off parents from a early age and Plus we are exteremely proud and religious people
In my opinion it also comes down to our Hero's in the 1916 rising our history. People who have fought for our country to be a free state.
