Republicans are people from the GOP political party. Most of them are now conservative, but a century ago republicans were liberal. The GOP party started out as a party that wanted to end slavery in America. Now their goal is to give Americans more freedom. They also want to repeal Obamacare, which forcesall Americans to buy health insurance,they want to get America out of debt as quick as possible, and they want to ban unions because they believe are no longer needed and people are taking advantage of them.

Most republicans are against gay marriages, dont believe in global warming, and think the UN is a joke.

Republicans are usually much better at defending their beliefs than democrats.

On the conservative news channel, Fox News, the hosts of their shows always have debates with liberal democrats and usually the shows host wins the debates.
