The same rights as any other mother?
Could you be a bit more specific and I will try to help more :)
The parent(s) can accuse the man of statutory rape.
ALL rights. You're still a child.
yes it is legal ... unless the person the 14-16 year olds are having it with someone over 18
They can't drink alcohol, and can't get into over 21 clubs.
The age of majority in the state of Texas is 18. Unless declared an emancipated minor, anyone under 18 has no legal rights to property or anything else.
16 year olds can drive with 'L' plates, buy lotto tickets and 'scratchies' and legally have sex. Cannot drink until 18 years old.
I think it should be at least 18+, they have to be responsible but i've seen about 16 year olds do it too.
probabbly not 12 yr olds dont have legal rights to work.
you legally have no responsibility for anything once ur child hits 18 years of age they are a legal adult and must deal with their own responsibilities.
it is legal
You are going to need legal representation to solve this. Perhaps if the child is disabled, there may be more for you to contribute. Same if the child is living at home and going to school--many 18 years olds are still in high school.
I'm not 100 % positive about this but I'm pretty sure, 95% sure there is no "legal age" to be a babysitter. One thing to keep in mind though is if you leave your child somewhere and something happens you can be charged with child endangerment. One reason there's no age to which a child can be left alone, except for the obvious is because some 12 year olds will be more mature than some 15 year olds, and vice versa.
Rights you get when you turn 18: · The right to vote. · You can buy cigarettes and chewing tobacco. · Buy/rent porn. · Be drafted in the military. · You can buy lottery tickets. · You're considered a legal adult. & more.
