Assuming the coin is an American Silver Eagle 1 ounce bullion coin. The value is tied to the spot price of silver at the time of sale. As of 9-02-12 it's $31.74 per ounce. This price is a little less than you could buy it for and a little more than you could sell it for. But it gives you an idea of value. Collectors versions of this coin do have higher values.
NOTE: The spot price of silver and other precious metals changes by the minute when the market is open. So the value of this coin will go up and down.

This is not a coin made by the US mint. These coins generally have no collector value. If the coin is silver it will be worth more but if it is only silver plated with copper underneath it will be worth less.
It's not really a silver dollar, but rather a U.S. Silver Eagle, which is a one ounce silver bullion coin. As of 18 July 2014, one is worth just under $21.
There is no such thing as a Liberty dollar coin minted in 2000. There is however the Sacajawea dollar which was minted in brass, and unless in proof condition it is only worth $1.
It's made of brass, not gold, and is worth one dollar.
If you mean a American Silver Eagle dated 2000, it's one ounce of pure silver.
One dollar, and there's no gold in it.
The coin is a Sacagawea dollar not a liberty dollar and it's only worth a dollar.
About $15 right now. Price varies with the spot price of silver.A 2000 American Eagle Silver Dollar Bullion coin with a "W" or "S" mint mark in MS65 condition is worth: $18; if it carries a mint mark of "P," it is in proof state and is worth: $35.00.
About $15 dollars now but it could be $35 dollars depending on the condition and grade of silver. You can check google to find what your specific coin is worth.

These coins are not worth more than face value unless they have the mintmark "S". It could also be a 1 oz silver bullion coin. they coin is made out of .993 pure silver. It is worth around $35 to $40
ALL American coins have the word LIBERTY on them, so "liberty dollar" isn't specific enough to ID the coin. If you mean a small, brass-colored dollar with Sacajawea on the front, it's worth exactly $1. If you mean a large silver coin that says "1 oz" on the back, it's a bullion coin and not a dollar meant for spending. Please see the Related Question for more.
The painting is done by a 3rd party, NOT the U.S. Mint. As such, alterations remove any collector value. Painted U.S. Silver Eagles are currently worth $19.64 for the silver, as of 14 December 2013.
