A Chi weenie is a mixed breed between a chihuahua and a dachshund. These dogs only get about 5-10 pounds and 8 inches tall, but crossed with a standard dachshund and they can be bigger. A Chiweenie is no better, or worse, with children than a dachshund or chihuahua. Some claim that it is a dachshund with less of a predisposition to back problems, but they fail to admit it can also be a chihuahua more predisposed to back problems. The genetic history is just as important with hybrids as any other dog that someone chooses to breed.
It is always wise to do your research before buying any animal, so you can choose what is right for you, and what is right for the animal. Always research what a motive should be behind a breeding, as the breeder should behave as though they are responsible for each dog they breed for the rest of their lives, and the rest of all the progeny's lives. Very few of these "cross breeder" are responsible, so proceed with caution.

Can a male black lab breed your chiweenie?
I'm not sure that there is a reason this can't happen. However, it shouldn't be allowed to happen because the resulting puppies from a successful breeding of this sort could be large enough to cause serious complications to, if not kill, the chiweenie.
