What is a Giclee print?

A Giclee print is a print of a piece of art that is made from a digital source, using ink-jet printing. It is a high-resolution, high-quality print, done on a special printer onto any of a number of fabrics, vinyl, paper, etc.

Actor Pierce Brosnan spends much of his free time painting pictures which are turned into Giclee prints. He gives the prints to his favorite charitable organizations, which they can then sell, using all profits for their cause.
