A girl guide is a member of the Girl Guides association. It is a youth organization which takes place in units for young girls aged 4 onwards.

Girl Guides is a program for girls of any age to have fun, go on camps and learn stuff.

Girl Guides and Girl Scouts are members of the international organization called The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS). There are Girl Guides and/or Girl Scouts in 145 countries around the world and age levels and badges are different depending on which WAGGGS member organization a girl belongs to.

Members of WAGGGS focus on leadership and developing values, self-esteem, and becoming responsible citizens of the world.
